Canyon Marathon

About

It’s 1968, and the world is changing fast.

A young music student leaves his quiet life on a remote reservation in British Columbia to study at the University of California, Berkeley. What he finds is a campus alive with protest, passion, and possibility. The Vietnam War has divided the nation, and every street corner hums with the sound of rebellion and hope.

Far from home, he’s torn between the traditions he left behind and the restless energy of a generation demanding change. Music and running become his refuge—the only places where his heart and mind can find peace. As he trains for a marathon that will test more than his endurance, he begins to understand that the race isn’t just about the finish line. It’s about who he is, what he believes in, and how far he’s willing to go to find his own truth.

A moving story of transformation, courage, and the power of running through the storms of life.
